Join us on September 26th for Fusion Three, an exciting evening of dance featuring original performances by three exceptional artists supported by Swindon Dance: TrashDollys, Petronella and Sean Moss. Each artist brings their own unique style and perspective to the stage, offering a powerful blend of bold choreography, striking visuals, and emotionally resonant storytelling.
TrashDollys - Here, There, and Nowhere is a 15-minute work by Bristol-based dancer and filmmaker Sam Amos (TrashDollys), blending film and live performance to explore self and clarity in a disorienting online world. Since founding TrashDollys in 2014, Sam has created distinctive works that fuse dance and film, touring internationally and connecting with wide audiences.
Petronella - Gathering Clouds is a work by London- and Cornwall-based choreographer Petronella Wiehahn, where dancers become clouds, waves, and storms in a world of light and water. Blending contemporary and hip-hop influences, her work explores weather, nature, and our connections with each other, and has been performed at venues including The Place and Southbank Centre.
Sean Moss - I’m not sure what I’m meant to write here. Should I make you excited, nervous, or intrigued? Maybe mysterious—but I doubt I can pull that off. Really, I’m just trying to make what follows make sense, though I’m not sure what that is. I’m Still Here explores how past mistakes linger in the psyche, and what it means to live with yourself. Through text, movement, and comedy, the film follows one man’s reflection on his misdeeds and asks: “Why am I still here?” -Sean Moss
