Swindon’s Arts and Culture receive £1.3m boost and WE’RE part of it

We’re excited to share the news that Swindon has secured £1.3 million of investment in arts and culture, thanks to Arts Council England’s £600,000 award from the National Lottery Place Partnership Fund, alongside significant contributions from Swindon Borough Council and local partners.

This two-year programme will establish Swindon as a festival town, unlock new spaces for creativity and create pathways for local people to develop their own artistic journeys.

At the heart of this work is the newly formed Swindon Culture Collective CIC, a not-for-profit organisation that will bring together over 100 artists, organisations and community groups. Their mission is to boost collaboration, visibility and participation across the town’s vibrant cultural scene.

Swindon Dance is proud to be part of this exciting journey and will play a role on the Steering Groups guiding the programme. Together, we’ll help ensure Swindon’s arts community continues to thrive, engage new audiences and inspire the next generation.

Stay tuned as we share more about how this ambitious programme unfolds and how you can get involved.
