We are thrilled to share the exciting news that our application to the Wiltshire Community Foundation for support of our Salto! programme has been approved!
Over the course of the next three years, from January 2024 to December 2026, we will be receiving a generous grant totaling £14,817. This funding is instrumental in furthering the development of our Salto! programme, enabling us to continue making a positive impact in the lives of children and youth with additional learning needs from Swindon and the surrounding areas.
With this support, we will be able to sustain and enhance our weekly Salto! Juniors and Salto! Youth classes, ensuring that these vital inclusive dance sessions remain accessible for our young participants. This funding will cover 30 weeks of delivery each year, providing consistency and continuity for the next three years.
Excitingly, we will be introducing Salto! Steps starting September 2024. Salto! Steps is designed for our older young people with additional learning needs who are eager to advance their technical skills and explore their creativity further. Operating as a youth company, this class will offer performance opportunities, empowering participants to showcase their talent and artistic growth. Stay tuned for more updates!
Moreover, thanks to this funding, we will be able to organise a creative one-day holiday workshop for the Salto! programmes later in the year, scheduled during the October half term. Led by our experienced Salto! team, this workshop promises to be a dynamic and enriching experience for all involved.
