Maea Morgan
Maea is an alumni of the Swindon Dance Centre for Advanced Training and completed her dance training at the Trinity Laban Conservatoire for Music and Dance. She was an EMERGANCE 22/23 programme Graduate, an MA Dance: Performance and Professional Practices programme that is a professionally focused course (12-months), co-designed and delivered between Joss Arnott Dance and the University of Salford.
In 2022 during her her final year at Laban Conservatoire her choreography was premiered at The Place in London, where she performed her own work, a piece that looks at how her whole family have been influenced by the arts. Maea Morgan also joined Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures company for their production of Romeo and Juliet. Over 1000 auditioned and six young dancer were selected for each venue and in 2023 Maea and Lucy Halfpenny from SHESOMADANCE – a female-led collective created by Maea and Lucy Halfpenny, who bonded during their time with Emergence, the postgraduate dance company of Joss Arnott and Salford University – joined Company Chameleon’s Artist Development programme UPLIFT for Dance Artists in the North West.
Maea is also a yogi / reformer Pilates trainer inspired to move healthy & happily.
