A range of professional development and networking opportunities can be accessed by artists at Swindon Dance which can help to ensure the development of a sustainable career. These include:

• Finding Your Feet Workshops – provide an opportunity once or twice a year for newly arrived dance artists / practitioners to come along to a ‘welcome’ session at Swindon Dance and get to know us and the opportunities available to artists.
• Mentoring Sessions – with Swindon Dance and Associate staff.
• Career Development Surgeries – with Swindon Dance and Associate staff.
• Breathing Space – Artistic Directors’ network group (starts 2013). A chance for Artistic Directors and leaders of smaller or newer dance companies/groups to meet and take part in facilitated sessions with input from dance industry peers.
