What’s Reverse Pitch ‘27 all about?
Imagine a stage where young artists take the spotlight and present their ground-breaking ideas directly to you! This unique event brings together an invited audience of 100 young individuals aged 14-20 to witness the magic unfold. Experience 4 young artists each presenting their creative vision in a dynamic 15-minute slot, spanning a captivating range of mediums – from live performances to thought-provoking talks and mesmerizing films.
What is the prize?
A Swindon Dance Commission of £2,000, to propel the artist’s vision into reality. Entry into our Professional Artist Programme, along with complimentary studio space, marketing assistance, and priceless mentoring from the Swindon Dance experts.
How do I vote?
Voting can be done online or using the paper voting slips available on the night.
QR codes will be on display at Swindon Dance. Simply scan the code using your mobile phone to place your vote OR if you prefer, you can complete a short paper voting form and post it in the Reverse Pitch ballot box on display. Please vote only once via mobile or paper.
Are there any age restrictions?
This event is by invitation only and exclusively for young dancers like yourself, aged 14 to 20 years, who collaborate with Swindon Dance. This is your chance to connect, exchange ideas, and celebrate the arts in a truly invigorating manner.

Will I get to see the winner’s finished piece?
For those of you who attended the event you will be receiving a VIP invitation to see the winner’s finished piece here at Swindon Dance in 2028.
