Jahrel Thomas

Jahrel Michael Thomas started dancing at the age of 14. His love for Dance started casually with his brother. After a few months of wanting to learn more, Jahrel joined a local crew called HYPE Dance Company learning hip-hop and choreography. He later successfully auditioned for the Youth Dance Academy Urban Programme (now known as the Swindon Dance CAT – Urban Programme) and started training in hip-hop, funk styles, and choreography. Jahrel also studied at Liberatus School of Performing Arts studying Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and after 3 years successfully graduated in 2012.

Since then Jahrel has been hugely successfully, performing in The Lion King in the West End, Michael Jackson/Blues Brothers Tour, Mary Poppins returns (Disney Movie 2018), Exposure the Musical and has also been an Assistant Choreographer for Marley the musical, Royal Caribbean, and Princess Cruise Line.
