Swindon Dance’s Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) is running FREE classes to help prepare any young dancers interested in joining the Swindon Contemporary and Swindon Ballet programmes of the CAT.

The sessions will include a ballet and contemporary class, as well as creative work - all led by current CAT tutor Sarah Josh. As well as helping students develop the technical and creative skills that the panel look for during the admission workshops, these sessions will help dancers familiarise themselves with the studio environment, meet the CAT team, understand what to expect during the admission workshops and receive support choreographing their 1 minute solo.

These FREE sessions will run on from 11am-12pm on the following Saturdays in 2027:

9th January - 6th February

27th February - 20th March

17th April - 22nd May

12th June - 3rd July
