Building a Sustainable Career in Dance
Designed for recent graduates, emerging dance professionals and anyone looking to develop a career in dance, this practical CPD day will help you navigate the move from training into the professional industry with greater confidence and clarity.
Led by experienced dance artists and industry professionals, the day will explore the practical realities of building a sustainable freelance career, from business essentials and teaching practice to professional presence, wellbeing, funding, collaboration and networking.
You’ll hear from Katie Purcell and Sarah Fletcher, Helen Ganberg, Adrienne Hart of Neon Dance and Richard Chappell, with additional guidance from Swindon Dance alumna Charley Logan through her New Teachers Roadmap.
There will also be opportunities to meet and connect with other participants throughout the day.
